By placing an order via our website you confirm that:
– You are capable of entering into a legally binding contract
– You are purchasing goods as a consumer and not as a wholesale purchase.

Please note we do not accept orders from outside the United Kingdom, nor can we offer delivery outside the United Kingdom.

When making a purchase we require your name, billing address, delivery address, telephone number, email address and payment details.

Once you have submitted your order through our website, we will send you an acknowledgement email listing the products ordered.

This email acts simply as an acknowledgement that your order has been submitted and will be processed by us, and it should not be considered that the order is confirmed or accepted at this point.

Stock Availability

Please note all orders are subject to stock availability. Due to the nature of the lines offered via this website being clearance or discontinued items, we may on occasion be unable to supply an item ordered due to stock shortage.

In the event of the product ordered being out of stock, we will advise this via email or telephone, and refund you the amount you have paid for the product in full. We will do our utmost to let you know as soon as we can if we cannot fulfil any part of an order.

Your order will be accepted and confirmed by us when the products have been despatched, we will email you to confirm your order has been sent.


Orders are despatched the next working day after being placed.
Orders over £20.00 are usually delivered the next working day after despatch* via Royal Mail Tracked 24 with signature. Tracking details will be emailed upon the day of despatch.

If you have not received your delivery within 3 working days after despatch, please contact us.

All our orders over £20.00 are despatched on a service which will require the goods to be signed for, so you may prefer to specify a business address etc when ordering, but please note that we are unable to change the delivery address once an order has been placed.

If you are not in when Royal Mail first try to deliver they will leave a card, please follow the instructions on the card left by Royal Mail to arrange redelivery.

Orders can be placed using a PayPal account, Credit / Debit card or Amazon Pay, payment will be taken at the point of placing the order, once the order has been submitted. Please note that any applicable refunds will only be issued to the original payment method.

Product Descriptions

The images of our products are for illustrative purposes only. We make every effort to ensure the images and colours as shown on our website are accurate, however images and colours as displayed on your device may vary in comparison to the product.

As we use natural materials in our products, some variance can occur in both colour and finish.

Although we do our best to maintain the site accurately, Loake cannot guarantee that the product information, description and other content is completely correct.

Cancelling your order

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact Loake as soon as possible, quoting the relevant order number.

Please note that it may not always be possible to prevent an order being sent, once it has been processed by our warehouse. In these circumstances you are welcome to return these using our free returns service, we can refund these goods upon receipt, subject to our standard returns conditions.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer exchanges. Please return your item for refund, and place a new order.


If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your Loake order you may return it to us within 28 days  FREE of charge via Royal Mail for a full refund as appropriate, subject to our returns conditions.

Please note that orders placed online cannot be returned to our stores.

It is very important that items to be refunded or exchanged are returned to us in a saleable condition. When trying items on, please do not crease the uppers or scratch the finish on leather soles. Please return any items in the original packaging with any labels, tags, etc. still attached.

Please note that we cannot issue a refund for items that have been worn.

Please repackage the shoes as appropriate and visit the Royal Mail link below to generate and print your own returns label and attach securely to the parcel.

Royal Mail parcels will need to be taken to a Royal Mail Post Office.

On receipt of your return, we will refund to the original method of payment the full price paid for the items returned to us, subject to our returns conditions.

We Are Open!

We are pleased to announce that as of Wednesday 2nd December 2020, our Market Harborough Factory Shop will be open and welcoming customers in to store once again.

Opening times are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 10am-5pm
Saturday: 10am-6pm
Sunday: 10am-4pm

We are committed to making your visit to store an enjoyable and, above all, safe experience. In addition to the same excellent and personal Loake service that you love, safety measures in line with government guidelines have been put in place to minimise the risk to our staff and customers.

Our Commitment to You

Regular hand washing and sanitation is being carried out throughout the day, particularly in between serving customers. All products are also being kept sanitised both on the sales area and behind the scenes in our stock rooms. Appropriate levels of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is being utilised around the store and by our staff when interacting with customers for shoe fittings.

In order to keep the Loake retail environments safe for all, we kindly require that all visitors please keep at least 2 metres distance from other customers in store, and wear the disposable gloves provided. Hand sanitiser gel will be provided upon entry, and we ask that customers wear the disposable face masks provided during shoe fittings. It’s imperative that
we all work together to act responsibly at this time. If you are displaying Covid19 symptoms, we politely ask that you chose to visit our online Factory Shop, until it is safe for you to visit the store. Our online store and online factory shop is available 24/7 to all.

COVID-19 Update

Our foremost dedication is to our staff and our customers and as the situation around the COVID-19 Coronovirus continues to escalate, it is important to work together to protect all of those around us. As such, we have taken the difficult but necessary decision to close all Loake stores temporarily and with immediate effect.

We would like to re-assure our customers that while Loake online retail is still open, our warehouse is currently operating with a small team of four people only, to pick and pack any orders. The large warehouse space has allowed for new ‘zones’ to be introduced, allowing staff to comfortably follow the UK Government’s rules on social distancing, as well as maintaining strong sanitisation practises. This also includes not using any communal areas at the same time.

All packages are packed into metal cages before being moved outside for the courier’s arrival at the end of the day. This guarantees that the courier can collect safely, without ever entering our building or meeting with the team.
